Art Opportunity, January 21 Deadline: Barbrush February 2013

New York, NY — Dec. 28, 2012. All visual artists are invited by BAREBRUSH founder and CEO, Ilene Skeen to submit art of all genres for three Barebrush calendar contests: February 2013 N*des-of-the-Month calendar contest, the February 2013 PhotoArt N*des calendar contest, and the February 2013 Best-of-the-Rest calendar contest.

Guest curator for the February 2013 calendars will be Marina Hadley of Monkdogz Urban Art in New York City. 

When asked what she will be looking for, Ms. Hadley said:

I am looking for integrity of work above all else. I need to see the soul of the artist reflected in the work; the commitment and investment of the artist. I want to be able to understand the context within which the work exists; the past and the future, not just the moment that has been captured. I wish to have a dialogue with not only the artist but with the subject. I am hoping to being engaged, challenged and inspired by the work.
