Art Opportunity, February 17 Deadline: Barebrush Calendar Contests for March 2012 -- N*des-of-the-Month, PhotoArt N*des and Best-of-the-Rest

Curator to select 93 artworks

All visual artists are invited by BAREBRUSH founder and CEO, Ilene Skeen to submit art of all genres for three Barebrush calendar contests: March 2012 N*des-of-the-Month calendar contest, the March 2012 PhotoArt N*des calendar contest, and the March 2012 Best-of-the-Rest calendar contest. Guest curator for the March 2012 calendars will be Della Clason Sperling, founder of Sperling Arts New York, specializing in art appraisals and collections management.

When asked to provide a personal statement for the art selection, Ms. Sperling said:

 I have thoroughly enjoyed helping Ilene create this calendar twice before, and I am very pleased to have been invited to participate again, especially because we will be doing the three calendars. Very exciting! I am eager to see new art. I want not only to admire your artistic prowess, but to feel something and learn something.

 Ms. Skeen added:

I am delighted to work with Della Sperling once again. Ms. Sterling is usually eager to share her thoughts as she selects the art, and this is very helpful to Barebrush and our Barebrush artists. Please note that circumstances require that the March contest close on February 17th, so please make note to get your submissions in early.
